Impact Startup
CRIMAGNO stands as an innovative impact footwear startup driven by a transformative mission set on reshaping the rules of the industry. We are committed to protecting the planet by achieving our target of zero emissions by 2025 and maintaining negative missions thereafter. Additionally, we actively engage in initiatives to safeguard the planet and uplift rural communities through various campaigns. Our collection is characterized by three main elements: Design, Ergonomics and Sustainability.
Design oriented
Our shoes are industrial design products.
We conceive footwear as a bionic human extension, rather than a fashion accessory. We approach product and manufacturing processes from a different background, setting us apart from other footwear brands. We believe that our different point of view will lead us to new solutions and standards, for the conception of futuristic footwear.
Sustainability
We only use smart, sustainable and innovative materials. We consider the whole shoes life cycle, having considered the correct recycling of used shoes.
After working together for over two years, our aim was to create a sustainable, high-end hybrid designer shoe that’s suitable for anyone. That’s how KOBI came to be—an eco-friendly and ergonomic shoe that goes beyond just fashion, becoming a natural extension of your body.
Cristiano & Gabriele
Cristiano Magnoni and Gabriele Blandina
are the co-founders. Cristiano is an industrial and interior designer with vast international experience. Gabriele represents the fourth generation of a historic footwear company based in Vigevano, with over 70 years of history.
Together, we combine fourth-generation Italian shoe manufacturing competence with international design expertise.
Craftsmanship
and technology
Although our headquarters is based in Switzerland, the production of our shoes is made in Vigevano in Italy, a town located 80 km from our offices and which has always been famous for being one of the most famous shoes districts in Italy. We also pride ourselves on the fact that we work mostly with suppliers located at a maximum of 80 km from each other in order to reduce our carbon footprint and have all the production under control.
